SnapSpan Display System
The SnapSpan Display System is an adjustable, modular magnetic stand designed for displaying medium-sized glass artwork. It provides a clean and flexible way to view, photograph, critique, exhibit, or enjoy finished work without permanently attaching hardware to the glass.
Three included Spans allow the stand to be assembled in one-, two-, or three-Span configurations, adjusting the overall width to accommodate a variety of artwork sizes. Two Pucks connect the Spans when assembling the wider configurations.
The glass rests inside the Display Channels of the two Piers. Six magnetic Fit Clips—two Thin, two Medium, and two Thick—allow you to adjust the fit and viewing angle for differences in glass thickness, edge shape, and balance. The clips can be used individually, mixed and matched, or snapped together, with up to three Fit Clips stacked on each side for additional adjustment. Depending on the piece, you may use several Fit Clips, a single clip, or none at all.
Each Span includes two built-in magnetic Clip Docks on its underside. One Span stores the pair of Thin Fit Clips, one stores the Medium pair, and one stores the Thick pair. This integrated storage keeps all six clips organized and stored directly with the system, rather than becoming separated or lost between uses.
The minimal black PLA plastic structure supports the artwork without visually competing with it. Because both the width and Fit Clip arrangement can be changed, one SnapSpan Display System can accommodate a changing collection of glass rather than being dedicated to one specific piece.
